Reflection
The first thing I did was record all of my video. When I messed up I stopped the recording and started back up again a little before where I had stopped so when I was editing all of the takes would overlap a little bit. If i did it again I probably would have made some sort of script which would have limited how many times i messed up which was a lot. I took all my my recordings and put them into iMovie. This is the second project I have used iMovie so this is time it was much easier to edit the video. I had to watch every section of the recordings many times to edit it correctly so that it flowed nicely together. There are some parts where you can tell that the video skips or where I got my wording mixed up but I think that could be corrected with more practice with recording and editing. After I finished editing the whole video I added the transitions, introduction, words, and credits. I think I could use this in a classroom but having the students make their own videos and then have the class actually do the projects while watching the videos.

Reflection
This is the first animated film I have ever made. I have seen stop-motion video’s online and I always thought that it must be a lot of work and time to make one. My video is very simple and short so it wasn’t as hard or time consuming as I image others would be. I don’t plan on making this a hobby of mine but I am glad that I learned how to make one and got a chance to work with iMovie so I can say I at least know how. I see this fitting in the classroom as a good group project and create a lesson where the students can work with technology, story telling, collaboration, and the visual arts.

The plan we had for our project changed many times because we all kept coming up with ideas and wanted to incorporate it into the project. Our ideas were so big and there were so many elements that we wanted to put into the lesson that it turned into a whole semester worth of information and new concepts and skills. Our ideas were also very ambitious and we realized that we needed to be more realistic about the skill level our students and the materials that we would have access to. We assigned the different tasks to each of us but as we started working we found ourselves all working together on most of this different tasks which was good because we all had a say in what we were doing but it also caused us to get into situations where we didn't agree on where we were going with the project. Once we all put the finishing touches on each of our parts they all came together really well and created a complete well thought out and creative lesson plan/presentation.

Reflection
I really enjoyed doing this project because I like making the things that go along with a lesson plan like the PowerPoint presentation, worksheets, quizzes and pamphlet.. This is a basic lesson but it is something that needs to be taught in most art classes because it is essential information that students don;t know when they start taking an art class. This kind of lesson can be used to teach all grades fro elementary to high school with small adjustments. In the future when I teach I can go back and use what I did for this project in my classroom and I already have it done! I hope that my other classmates find this lesson useful also and can use it in their future classrooms as well.

This was the first time I made a podcast or made anything like it before. The overall process was fun but also frustrating when I couldn’t figure out how to do certain things. The most enjoyable part for me was collecting the pictures and then editing them. Timing them to the audio part proved to be harder than I thought. It took many times to get it right but there are still little timing errors that I notice because I have seen it so many times. The most difficult part was putting the music and the voice recording together. I had never used GarageBand before so it was hard to figure out what buttons did what and how to place the music where I wanted it and adjust the volume in certain parts. I am glad that I now know how to make a podcast and learned how to use a new application. My future students will probably know more about computers than I do so this puts me closer to their knowledge level. I think I could use making a podcast in a lesson plan, probably for the high school level. It has clear directions to follow but also leaves a lot of room for students to be creative.
